If you are establishing a high-speed Ethernet network, bulk cable provides the flexibility that you need to expeditiously finish your project. Manufactured in accordance to industry stipulations, our Ethernet cable offers speed, durability, reliability, and quality | Read the sections listed below to learn which bulk cable option is best for your application.

What is CAT5e Ethernet Cable?

Also known as Category 5e, CAT5e is renowned for voice, video, data, ATM, token ring, and direct networking. CAT5e can facilitate frequencies up to 350MHz and for 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet. Predominantly consisting of 4 twisted pairs, CAT5e Ethernet cable comes in a variety of options that have the ability to improve your application, including solid and stranded cables, indoor and outdoor solutions. We also carry both Plenum and Riser CAT5e cable.

How does CAT6 and CAT6A Ethernet cable compare to CAT5e?

Defined, CAT6 is the sixth generation of network cabling that consists of four twisted pairs. Available in both solid or stranded types, CAT6 tests up to 550MHz and is ideal for voice, data, security, LAN, token ring, and 10/100/100 Base-T networking. Conversely, if you are looking for double the speed, CAT6A is an augmented version of CAT6 with 10G capabilities, maintaining a stronger signal and delivering reduced alien crosstalk. Available in solid, plenum, or shielded, CAT6A is perfect for those looking to have a solid network at an affordable price. Browse our selection of CAT6 or CAT6A products.

CAT7/7A Bulk Cable

Another lucrative option for 10G networks, CAT7 cable is the seventh generation of twisted pair cable. Engineered to narrower specifications for crosstalk and system noise then Class E, CAT7 is backwards compatible with Class D and Class E cable, while delivering transmission up to 600MHz. CAT7 cable could possibly be terminated with 8P8C compatible G45 connectors or with TERA connectors.

CAT8 Bulk Cable

Experience the networking standard of the future. CAT8 cables are composed of four individually shielded pairs of 24 gauge stranded bare copper conductors with tinned copper braid shield. The excess shielding assists in preventing electromagnetic interference (EMI) in electrically “noisy” environments, preventing speed fluctuations and sedating alien crosstalk.
