Coax Connectors
Coaxial Connector Overview
We take pride in offering high-quality coax connectors. A high quality coaxial connector makes a lasting, consistent connection. Coaxial connectors are components attached to the ends of a coax cable—they make it possible to connect to other devices. There are many different types, including F-type, RCA, and BNC connectors.
These connectors carry video, data, audio, or radio frequencies. Commercial uses include: CCTV, security, CATV, and Ethernet. The primary industrial uses of coaxial connectors include: aerospace, defense, medical, and telecom industries.

Along with maintaining a quality connection, coaxial connectors are designed to maintain the shielding on the coax cable. The shielding is important in preventing signal interference and signal loss.
Coaxial connectors are precision-made, and they can easily be damaged. Because they are so temperamental, it’s important to get your connectors from a quality, reputable supplier like us. Use the coax connectors as little as possible, disconnect/reconnect as few times as possible, keep away from solvents, and do not grind the connectors (male and female) together. Basically, take care of them in order to maximize their use.
F Connectors
Probably the most common type of connector in the home, F connectors are intended for more permanent connections and most commonly used for CATV applications. In general these are used with 75 Ohm cable and applications. F connectors support up to several GHz and are relatively inexpensive. It can be used with RG6/U and RG59/U.
BNC Connectors
BNC connectors (Bayonet Neill-Concelman) is the most commonly used coax connector for CCTV applications, and they can be used for many other applications such as professional audio, video, and broadcasting. BNC connectors are ideal in settings where there are regular connects/disconnects. While it is most commonly for RG59/U cables, it can be terminated with RG6 and RG11. They are very common in professional audio, video, and broadcasting applications.
We stock a variety of BNC connectors including crimp-on, twist-on, and our popular compression connectors. The advantage of compression connectors is that with a compression tool, you get a confirmation of a cable connection, better performance, a compressed snug connection, and ease of installation.
RCA Connectors
We offer RCA (Radio Corporation of America) connectors, which are made for transmission of audio and video signals. RCA connectors are primarily used for component video on older televisions, and for professional audio. These connectors are compression style connectors for quick and easy CCTV installation.

Mini Coax Connectors
Mini coax connectors are coaxial connectors used with component and composite audio and video cables 23-25 AWG in diameter. We carry BNC, F, and RCA mini coax connectors. All of our mini coax connectors are compression style connectors, so make sure you have a compression crimp tool.
