Our RG6 Quad Shielded Plenum Coaxial Cable is ideal for installation of CATV surveillance cameras and radio frequency applications. Its CL2P-rated jacket allows for in-wall placement. With a 75-ohm impedance, the RG6 Quad Shielded Plenum Coaxial Cable is not intended for high-Gigahertz applications.

Applications
Plenum Quad Shielded Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radio frequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Plenum Coaxial Cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Plenum Coaxial Cables connects radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals. This Quad Shielded Plenum Coaxial Cable consists of a 18 AWG solid copper clad steel (CCS) center conductor that transmits the signal. It is surrounded with a Fluorinated Ethylene-Propylene (FEP) dielectric insulation, and 100% AL Foil + 70% AL Wire Braid / 100% AL Foil + 70% AL Wire Braid shielding. This is covered with a Plenum CMP jacket. Our cables are UL listed, ETL Verified and RoHS Compliant.
