DB9 Mini Gender Changer - Male to Female
DB9 Port Savers help to prevent damage to the port connectors on your equipment that can be caused by repeated plugging and unplugging of connecting cables and adapters. They can also be used as in-line couplers to connect two similar cables to make a single effectively longer cable. Connector nuts on one side and connector screws on the other secure connections to panels and other connectors.
This 9-pin DB-9 (DE-9) adapter is incorrectly labeled as a Gender Changer. However, it is actually a port saver/in-line coupler for DB-9 (DE-9) connections.
