Description
RG6 Dual Shielded Coax Cable, for Digital HDTV and CATV
Our RG6 Coaxial Cable is ideal for installing satellite, digital CATV, and HDTV television networks due to its superior shielding and signal retention capabilities. Its denser jacket and thicker conductor compared to RG59 enable double the data transfer speed. To further enhance signal retention and ensure crystal-clear digital imagery, our RG6 coaxial cable comes in dual shield and quad shield options. Its 75-ohm impedance and 3GHz sweep testing ensure reliable performance.
This cable is compatible with our CN3-1594-59 BNC RG59 and CN2-7887-RG6 F-Type RG6 Connectors.
Applications
Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radio frequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Coaxial Cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Coaxial Cables connects radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals. This makes RG6 cable an ideal solution for coax cable for internet usage.
Product Quality
Our high-quality RG6 Coaxial Cable consists of an 18 AWG solid Copper-Clad Steel (CCS) inner conductor that transmits the signal. It is wrapped in dielectric polyethylene insulation. This RG6 dual-shielded coaxial cable comes with aluminum foil bonded and a 60% aluminum braided shield. This is covered with a flame-rated PVC jacket. Our cables are UL-listed and RoHS Compliant.
Where to use Coaxial Cable
A broad range of applications exist for coaxial cabling. It is widely used with home entertainment equipment such as Cable Television (CATV), Digital HDTV, Audio / Video, and Digital Satellite. It is also used with security cameras and GPS Systems.
