Description
RG6 Quad Shield Coax Cable with Messenger for Aerial CATV Networking
Our RG6 Coaxial Cable is widely employed in the installation of satellite, digital CATV, and HDTV television networking due to its elevated level of shielding for superior signal retention. Distinguished by its denser jacketing and thicker conductor compared to RG59, this coaxial cable enables doubled data transfer speed. We provide both RG6 dual shield and quad shield cables to optimize signal retention, ensuring sharper and clearer digital images. Operating at 75 Ohms and sweep tested at 3GHz.
This cable is compatible with our CN3-1594-59 BNC RG59 and CN2-7887-RG6 F-Type RG6 Connectors.
Applications
Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radio frequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Coaxial Cable also provides protection of the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Coaxial Cables connects radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals. This makes RG6 cable an ideal solution for coax cable for internet usage.
Product Quality
Our high-quality RG6 CATV Quad Shield Coaxial Cable with galvanized steel messenger wire consists of an 18 AWG solid Copper Clad Steel (CCS) inner conductor that transmits the signal. It is wrapped in dielectric polyethylene insulation. This RG6 coaxial cable comes with 100% Foil + 60% aluminum wire braid shield/100% Foil + 40% aluminum wire braid shield. This is covered with a flame-rated PE jacket (CMR). The Quad shielded construction of this RG6 Coaxial Cable provides optimal shielding to help protect signal from outside electrical interference.
Where to use Coaxial Cable with Messenger Wire
Our RG6 Coaxial Cable is recommended for aerial applications. It distributes signals for cable TV (CATV), satellite dishes, and roof-top antennas. The cable's jacket is designated CL2 for outdoor use on networking projects. The messenger is ideal for aerial applications such as running cables in the air between poles or buildings to avoid sagging cables.
