Category 3 cable, or CAT3 bulk Ethernet cable is a type of twisted pair cable frequently used in voice and data applications. Phone cable is defined by the Electronic Industry Alliance (EIA) and Telecommunication Industry Association (TIA). Primus Cable’s CAT3 phone cable is quality manufactured to meet and/or exceed product certifications and standards for EIA/TIA 568 and ISO/IEC 11801 specifications.

Our CAT3 bulk cable is commonly used for 10Base-T and 100Base-T networking, particularly for telephone and low speed data applications. We stock both phone cable for plenum and for riser applications. The CAT3 Bulk Cable, UTP PVC Solid 24AWG, 25-Pair is a wise choice for indoor commercial telco networking. It comes in 250, 500, and 1,000 foot lengths on a wooden spool. The conductors are 24 gauge solid bare copper.
