RG6 Coaxial Cable, 18 AWG CCS, Dual Riser CMR Rated, 100% AL Foil, 60% AL Wire Braid, 500ft, Black
Description
Dual RG6 Riser CMR Rated Coaxial Cable, Dual Shielded and 18 AWG CCS for CATV & Digital Satellite
Due to its superior shielding for signal retention, RG6 Coaxial Cable is the preferred choice for satellite, digital CATV, and HDTV television networking. Its thicker conductor and denser jacketing compared to RG59 enable twice the data transfer speed. We offer RG6 dual shield and quad shield cable options to optimize signal retention for sharper, clearer digital images. The RG6 Coaxial Cable operates at an impedance of 75 ohms and has been sweep-tested up to 3GHz.
This cable is compatible with our CN3-1594-59 BNC RG59 and CN2-7887-RG6 F-Type RG6 Connectors.
Applications
Coaxial Cable is used to transmit radio frequency energy. The advantage of coaxial is that the electromagnetic field carrying the signal occurs only in the space between the inner and outer conductors. With that said, it allows the cable to be installed next to metal objects without power loss. Coaxial Cable also offers protection for the signal from external electromagnetic interference. Coaxial Cables connects radio transmitters and receivers to their antennas, computer network (Internet) connections, digital audio (S/PDIF), and distributing cable television signals. This makes RG6 cable an ideal solution for coax cable for internet usage.
