Rare earth magnets are strong permanent magnets made from alloys from the lanthanide series of elements. These natural magnets generate stronger magnetic fields than ferrite or alnico magnets. We supply nickel plated rare earth magnets as well as alnico magnets. These are handy in security applications as they install easily with contact switches onto thinner vinyl windows without damaging the window itself.

We offer the Mighty Mag, rare earth magnets like the Mighty Mag Rare Earth Magnet 3/8" Diameter x 1/8" which install fast and easy. Rare earth alloy enables the magnet to retain its power while being significantly reduced in size. With its reduction in size, the rare earth magnet still retains its necessary gap for the application. They can be installed with either screws or double sided tape included. Our rare earth magnets are available in a variety of sizes as well.

It is available in both pole end painted and unpainted versions. These alnico magnets are generally composed of aluminum, nickel, and cobalt and are ferromagnetic.
