Designed to detect fiber breakpoints, fiber leaks, poor connections, and stress points, this rugged visual fault locator is perfect for field personnel detecting faults in fiber optic cables.

Features

A 650 nm Class IIIA laser diode identifies faults in single-mode and multi-mode fiber up to 3 miles long.
It has three different modes with constant output power: continuous wave, pulsing, and slower pulsing modes.
Works in OTDR dead zones and is used for end-to-end visual fiber identification
A protective sleeve can be rotated to keep the power button safe from being accidentally pressed.
Light and portable pen-style design with rugged aluminum housing is perfect for jobsites and on-the-go use
60 hours of battery life powered by two AA batteries (included)
Also includes adapters for 1.25 mm and 2.5 mm ferrule connectors, such as FC, SC, and ST connectors, as well as an LC adapter for LC connectors, carrying pouch, batteries, and instructions.
